Whole 30=Success


Hooooraaay!!! I made it to the 120's on my original scale...and only 1 pound away from my pre-pregnancy weight! :) My fancy scale is even better-it says something like 125! I will probably switch strictly to that one soon!

The Whole 30 is definitely worth it even though it is tough! The results below are only 6 days apart with way more progress than the 14 days apart previously!

I even had 1 cheat meal, which I only admitted to Clint. ha It is just what I needed to stay sane and be able to stick with it. I have about 6 more days of Whole 30 and then I'm taking a 5 day break for our trip and my birthday. Then I'll do another 2 weeks.

I'm also excited that in a week and a half, I get to start a very regular workout routine. We are gonna go check out the gym daycare and hopefully we will feel comfortable enough with it that I can go to a Power class at 10 Tuesdays and Thursdays this summer. I'll still go on Sundays also and run 3 more days. That, along with eating pretty clean, should be right at about what I need to look how I want to.

Hopefully I can achieve these by August! Those are pretty lofty goals though, and honestly I'll be happy if I can just get close.

 



I compared with 3 weeks ago mainly just because the angle last week was different from all the rest (Clint was sitting on the couch instead of standing up. ha)

I guess the weird angle helped my back pictures last week because I was thinking it had made better progress than this shows :( I'll have to keep working on that!

I like my stomach numbers!! But my bf% is frustrating as is the number on the scale! I started the Whole 30 diet today. It is basically like Paleo, but stricter. I will be eating meats, fruits, and veggies. That's it. You are supposed to do it for 30 days and it's supposed to be to train your body to eat right and to make you feel better...yada yada...I'm doing it to get skinny! Ha. You can supposedly lose a lot of weight on it because it's so restrictive. I will probably do it for 2 weeks and see how my numbers are then. 

Another thing...let's be honest (since y'all are my best friends) my boobs got SMALL! Yes, smaller than they used to be, so I definitely have to get skinny now to make up for that!

I'm still doing (trying to do) weights 3 days and running 3 days, but it has definitely taken a hit since I went back to work. I feel like I choose between time with Cambri, working out, or housework during my time at home. Cambri always wins! ;) I usually sneak in a few sets while Clint feeds her or plank next to her while she plays on the floor. That's why I'm serious about the diet for the next two weeks. Then I can get serious about "the fitness" when school's out.

I can't really tell much of a difference except for my back pictures. I am pretty happy about those. I can see maybe a little more definition in my stomach.

Do You Plank?

From what I read on the internet, planks and hovers will prove to be my best friend...so I am doing them all the time now! Maybe that will get rid of this pooch!!!!

I saw that hanging down and had to take a picture to document...so that I can rejoice when that is FLAT! I know some of it is loose skin and just my ab muscles needing to go back together to hold everything in. Hopefully the hovers will correct that.

8 Weeks

Dramatic was what I wanted. What I'm getting...slow and steady. I am doing my Couch to 5k program three days a week and lifting three days (off 1 day). I am eating better, but not perfect by any means! I think going back to work will help with that.

At least the numbers are going down...
