2 weeks postpartum

It appeared I had hit a plateau. :( Luckily today I lost a couple more. Hopefully the weight keeps coming off. If I have to work for it all, that will be tough. I do think I will start walking...I'm just not sure when. It is amazing how little time I have for anything other than feeding Cambri! I can't wait to start working out for real!

Ultimate goal weight=125 (3 pounds less than my pre baby weight). I would also like to note that my scale weighs a little high. Any other gym or Dr. scale, as well as my new fancy scale I bought, all weigh me about 4 pounds lighter. But I have to stick with this scale until I meet my goal since it's what I've been going off of since before I got pregnant.
*My new fancy scale tells BMI, hydration, and bone mass. It's pretty cool, but the number it's giving me for BMI right now is pretty depressing. Which worries me a little...I weigh this much with no muscle. So what's gonna happen when I start building muscle again?? I may have more to lose than I think!

I also forgot to mention my corset. I started wearing this the day after I came home from the hospital.
It helps pull everything back in to where it used to be. I really do think it helps. And I think my pictures would probably look better if I would take them right after taking this off...but I guess that would be cheating.

I also apologize for the lack of make-up AGAIN. I should've taken these yesterday, but yesterday was a stressful day, so that was the last think I was thinking about. So today...no make-up. Maybe I'll just stick with that until my final pic and then those will look amazing! ha

I'll post side by sides with my week 1 each week...

1 week postpartum

20 pounds down, 15 to go and I am still terribly unhappy with these pictures. I have a long way to go. Even if I get back down to my pre-baby weight, I have A LOT of toning and tightening to do!

1 week pp weight: 143

+35

So here I am at 38 weeks pregnant and 35 pounds heavier than when I started. My (pre-pregnancy) plan for pregnancy nutrition: Eat lean proteins, very limited sugars, healthy snacks like fruit and cheese, no cokes whatsoever, drink lots and lots of water. Um...then I got pregnant. I couldn't stomach grilled chicken or veggies, still can't. I did drink lots of water and eat lots of fruit. But I also became obsessed with Dr. Pepper-probably had close to 1 a day, craved sugar (cookies, candy, DONUTS) all the time, and pretty much lived off of burgers. That being said, I still feel like I gave Cambri lots of good stuff like milk, OJ, yogurt, healthy cheeses, etc. I just had junk to go with it. I also didn't work out much at all...not because I'm lazy. I miss it like crazy. I was just super paranoid that I would do something to jeopardize a healthy pregnancy and baby. Still I achieved my goal of not going over the recommended 30-35 pounds, granted I arrived at the top of that small window. My thoughts: if that's the recommended, then that's all baby, blood, placenta, yata yata and it will all fall right off. I hope that is true!

Pre-pregnancy weight: 128
Final weight: 163
